At crafteduhandmade, we are committed to your complete satisfaction with our tailoring and alteration services. This Return Policy outlines our commitment to quality workmanship and our procedures for addressing any concerns with completed alterations.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with your completed alteration, we will work with you to resolve the issue. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we strive to ensure every garment meets your expectations.

Fitting and Review Process

At Pickup: We strongly encourage all clients to try on altered garments at our premises before leaving. This allows us to identify and address any fit issues immediately while you are still in our studio.

Immediate Adjustments: Minor adjustments identified during pickup can often be completed while you wait or scheduled for prompt completion at no additional charge within seven days of initial pickup.

Initial Fitting Period: If you discover fit issues within three days of pickup, please return the garment promptly. We will assess the concern and make necessary adjustments at no additional charge if the issue results from our workmanship.

Adjustment and Correction Policy

Workmanship Issues: If alterations do not match agreed-upon specifications due to our error, we will correct the issue at no additional charge. This includes measurement errors, incorrect alterations, or failure to follow specified instructions.

Style Changes: If you wish to modify the style or design after work is completed, additional fees will apply. Changes in preference or specification after approval do not qualify for complimentary adjustments.

Fabric Limitations: Some adjustments may not be possible due to fabric limitations, previous alterations, or garment construction. We will discuss these limitations during initial consultation and cannot be held responsible for inherent garment restrictions.

Timeframe for Claims

Claims regarding alteration quality or fit must be made within seven days of garment pickup. After this period, we cannot guarantee adjustments, as wear or cleaning may affect the garment's condition.

Upon receiving a claim, we will inspect the garment to determine if the issue results from our workmanship or other factors. This inspection helps us identify the appropriate resolution.

Policy Exclusions

This policy does not cover:

Pre-existing Damage: Issues resulting from garment defects, wear, or damage present before alteration work began.

Fabric Characteristics: Problems arising from fabric properties such as shrinkage after cleaning, color fading, or fabric deterioration unrelated to alteration work.

Improper Care: Damage occurring after pickup due to improper cleaning, storage, or handling of the garment.

Body Changes: Fit issues resulting from weight or body changes after measurements were taken and alterations completed.

Client Specifications: Alterations performed exactly as requested by the client that do not meet their expectations after completion.

Refund Policy

Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Due to the custom nature of tailoring services, full refunds are rarely issued. We prefer to correct any issues through adjustments to ensure your satisfaction.

Partial Refunds: In cases where corrections are impossible due to fabric or construction limitations resulting from our error, partial refunds may be considered based on the extent of the issue.

Abandoned Items

Completed garments must be picked up within thirty days of notification. After this period, storage fees may apply. Items left for more than ninety days may be considered abandoned and donated or disposed of without liability.

Rush Orders

Rush orders completed within expedited timeframes are subject to the same quality standards and adjustment policies. However, due to the time-sensitive nature of rush work, we encourage immediate fitting upon pickup.
